Generating Ability Scores

We will be using a variant of the Classic character generation method.

  • Roll 3d6, re-rolling all ones, and add the dice together. This is the same as rolling 3d5+3.
  • Record the total and assign it to STR, CON, DEX, INT, WIS, and CHA, in that order.
  • You may swap any two scores once.
  • Generate three characters in this fashion and choose two of them as your player characters.

If character dies in the course of the campaign, generate one replacement as outlined above and play either this new character or the third character that previously was not chosen. All new characters start at first level.

Note that characters start as captives and do not own any equipment or starting wealth.
